Georgia Aroni is a registered Dance /Movement Therapist BTD, GDTSr, a trainer, based in Germany and works in a clinic of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatic.
She holds a bachelor in Studies in Greek Civilization and a certification in Studies in Primary Education. She brings 25 years of experience in the fields of education, therapy, and the creative arts. She also leads groups with a focus on life transitions, traumatic experiences and crisis intervention. She offers trainings and group seminars in Authentic Movement, as the discipline became central to her work, both as therapeutic and as mystical practice. During these years, she has been trained as a trauma sensitive yoga facilitator and is currently in training in Tuning Fork Therapy.
Georgia is an Adjunct teacher at the University of Luxembourg in the Department of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, has designed and facilitates the module "Creative Connections in Social Contexts" with a focus on Movement Awareness. She offers also supervision to health professionals. Georgia embraces the gift of humor in her embodied practice and enjoys restorative yoga, music, poetry, traveling and taking long walks along the river where she lives.
